Open Divisional Intercollege Volleyball Tournament-2026 : Open Divisional Intercollege Volleyball Tournament-2026 organised in Sadhu Vaswani (Autonomous) college in the memory of Late Shri Ajit detani ji from 09 Feb 2026 to 11 Feb 2026.Total 13 teams participated in this Tournament. Programme inaugurated by the -Shri Dayaldas Detani Ji(chairman) , Shri Rajendra Manwani ( General secretary ), Sh. Dinesh Wadhwani(Treasurer) , Sh. Inder Adwani ,Sh. Ashok Adwani , Sh. Hemant Aswani, Mrs. Muskan Detani , members of management committee, Dr. A.k singh (Principal) , Dr. Suman Malik (Director), Mr. Jagtar Singh( sports officer) Program led by the Dr. D. K. Dubey. Final match was played between RCC v/s Jawaharlal Nehru College on 11 Feb 2026, the Chief guest of closing ceremony was Mr. Rameshwar Sharma, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Huzur constituency in Bhopal. Team from RCC was the winners of the competition.
Consultancy program : Consultancy program on Postdoctoral Fellowships and Career Opportunities after PhD was conducted by Dr. Mani Shugani (Head, Department of Physics) on 03 January 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The session was organised for Mr. Hemant Kumar Prajapati and Mr. Anirban Majumdar, Research Scholar (Physics), IISER Bhopal. The discussion focused on national and international postdoctoral fellowships, academic and research career pathways, eligibility criteria, and general guidance for career planning after completion of PhD.

Sadhu vaswani [ Thanwardas Leelaram Vaswani] was born on 25th Nov. 1879 at Hyderabad Sindh. Presently his birthday is celebrated as the "Meatless Day" throughout the world.
OUR INSTITUTION:
The foundation of Sadhu Vaswani College was laid down by Sadu Vaswani Educational society on 2 Oct 1979 with the ideas of renowned visionary and social reformer Sadhu T.L Vaswani and blessings of Sant Shiromani Swami Hirdaram sahib ji. At that time, it was the need of the hour felt by the society with main focus on social service and entrepreneurship.
Sadhu Vaswani Autonomous College (Govt. Aided) is situated in the capital city of Bhopal. It is affiliated to Barkartullah University, Bhopal and also recognized by UGC under section 2(f) and 12(B) of the act. Since inception, the college has adopted an integrated and comprehensive approach of learning to achieve academic excellence and quality education.
The reaccreditation process by NAAC leading to “A” grade in 2014 itself reflects excellence in academic performance, capability of self-governance and enhancement in quality education. This is further complimented by autonomous status given to the college by UGC, New Delhi in 2015.
